Our Organization 

It is always said that when individuals come together to discuss and share mutual concerns, no matter what the common element is, the nucleus of an association is formed.
This were not quite different from what happened on January 9th, 2004 in New York City where citizens of Atebubu in the Bono East Region of Ghana came together and organized an association which later became North American Atebubu Citizens Association “NAACA”.
NAACA as the name implies is a non-government and non-profit making organization working to promote the welfare of members in order to help mobilize financial and material support to promote the education and health needs of communities and families in Atebubu and its environs in the spirit of giving back to the society and the community.

NAACA was incorporated on June 1st, 2006 pursuant to section 402 of the New York State and had organize one major maiden conference in NYC with a massive participation. The conference gave the Association the opportunity to invite the chiefs of Atebubu Traditional Council, the member of Parliament of Atebubu Amanten constituency who doubles as Bono East Regional Minister, and other opinion leader who came to grace the occasion.

The conference enables the association to lay out both the short- and long-term goals to the entire participants and encouraged them to contribute their best to the development of Atebubu and its environs.
