NAACA donates to support Atebubu Municipal hospital
The North American Atebubu Citizens Association (NAACA) has presented relief items to the Atebubu Municipal Hospital.
The relief items are to augment the efforts of health personnel in the fight against COVID-19 in the Municipality.
The items made up of hand sanitizers, disposal gloves, bottled water and nose masks valued over GHC 10,000 were presented to the hospital on behalf of the Association by the Atebubu Development Committee.
The Committee was led by the Benkumhene of the Atebubu Traditional Council, Oheneba Ampadu Boateng
Presenting the items, the Dawuakwahene of the Atebubu, Nana Boakye Yiadom, revealed that members of the association even though are in the diaspora feel the need to support the hospital in this era of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Ankobiahene and Chairman of the Development Committee, Nana Owusu Gyimah on his part commended personnel at the hospital for their continues dedication and commitment towards quality health delivery despite the outbreak of COVID-19.
“We are aware of the work you are doing in this era of COVID-19 and we are grateful to all the personnel here. On behalf of the entire Traditional Council, we will like to urge you on to continue to give out your best.”
The Acting Medical Superindent, Dr Kingsley Amponsah who received the items thanked the association for its continues support to the hospital.
He revealed that the relief items will go a long way to complement their efforts in the discharge of their activities.
The North American Atebubu Citizens Association(NAACA) was formed in 2006 by Atebubu residents in North America to champion developmental activities in Atebubu.
